The New Century Capital Partners Intern-Analyst Program in Investment Banking provides an intensive unpaid 6-month internship providing a unique opportunity to (1) further develop analytical, communication and problem-solving skills and (2) take on meaningful responsibility in real-world advisory assignments. Intern-Analysts will be directly involved in investment banking transactions as well as private equity investments and gain direct exposure to company management teams and Senior Managing Directors.

Intern-Analysts will be heavily involved in the following:
  • Market research and industry analysis for both investment banking and private equity
  • Creating company and industry databases
  • Developing corporate presentations and industry reports/whitepapers
  • Performing financial analysis of technology companies in cybersecurity, digital media and SaaS
  • Producing financial models and valuation analyses for clients
  • Strategic analysis for live capital raising, M&A assignments and private equity investment targets
  • Being a meaningful part of the development and success of emerging technology companies
  • Specific learning modules on various topics in investment banking and private equity

Position Requirements:
  • Some knowledge/education of accounting and/or corporate Finance
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Proficient in finding/researching information on the Internet
  • Superior leadership skills and capacity to facilitate cross-functional initiative
  • Highly motivated, pro-active self-starter in an aggressive team-oriented environment
  • Strong written, verbal and mathematical skills
  • Capacity to think “outside of the box” and contribute to creative solutions
  • Self-starter with the self-discipline to work extended periods without being micro-managed
  • Very strong work ethic and willingness to do add value to growing companies with a positive attitude!

The NCCP Intern-Analyst Program is an unpaid full-time internship position and is for a minimum 6-month period.
